Arrital sponsors the ARCHI_Cottura (ARCHI_Baking) International Award and announces three winners this year.
ARCHI_Cottura Awards and Prizes:
On January 18, 2021, the jury for the ARCHI _ Baking International Prize selected three winners. They are:
- First Prize: the “MAGNETIC JAR” by Federica Ferraro, Marianna Lanza and Erica Salvia. € 1,500.00,
- Second Prize: the “UNDER THE CRUST” by Anna Ochalek, Marco Biondi, Silvia Ancilotti and Erica Ziac. €750.00,
- Third Prize: the “DOUBLE FACE” by Francesco Paolo Di Benedetto (Group leader) and Jacopo Burgio. € 500.00,
Originality, Innovation, and Sustainability
All works presented at the award represent interesting and original technical solutions, as well as an up-to-date vision of trends in the modern kitchen”. More importantly, the designs also focused on accessibility for the disabled and sustainability with a recognized supply chain of the product life.
Arrital Promotes Design Talents
Arrital Kitchens sponsored this event and its initiatives. Artistic director Franco Druisso attended the event as a member of the jury. Through this award, Arrital hopes to develop relationships and dialogues with architects and designers at national and international level.
In addition to sponsorship, Arrital will consider showcasing all the works at the next Eurocucina and / or Salone del Mobile event in Milan. This will offer the contestants an opportunity to meet and share their works with the entire community of architects and designers.
The ARCHI _ Baking International Award, aims at researching and experimenting with innovative works. The organization also explores objects and environments relating to the ?? domestic social space between food architecture and design “. Thirdly, it promotes efforts on sustainability for the environment and accessibility for the disabled. Finally, ARCHI_Cottura evaluates cost of making as well as energy consumption.
