Modern Italian Furniture designer breaks tradition
Italian design has always been known for balancing innovation with timeless elegance. San Giacomo continues that tradition by reimagining familiar forms with a fresh and contemporary perspective. Through thoughtful proportions, material contrast, and refined details, each piece creates visual harmony while bringing personality into the home.
Floating Compositions That Play with Balance
San Giacomo introduces a distinctive approach to wall compositions with modern floating drawer systems that intentionally challenge symmetry. Suspended wire lamps hover above offset floating drawers, creating a design that appears unconventional at first glance. Yet despite the asymmetrical arrangement, the composition remains perfectly balanced.
Finished in elegant Lotus Earth and Lotus Natural tones, the floating drawers bring warmth and texture into the space. Above them, a retro-inspired round silver mirror with a brown metal frame adds softness and reflection, creating a subtle focal point that enhances the surrounding architecture.
This design demonstrates an important principle of modern Italian interiors: balance is not always achieved through perfect alignment, but through proportion, contrast, and visual rhythm.
Cabaret Glass Shelving: Simplicity with Character
The Cabaret collection embodies understated sophistication. With clean lines and carefully considered proportions, this glass cabinet explores the relationship between solid and open space, creating a composition that feels both light and architectural.
Its glass top doubles as a refined display surface perfect for showcasing treasured objects, travel keepsakes, books, or meaningful pieces that deserve everyday visibility.
Flexibility is central to the design. The Cabaret collection is available in multiple sizes and configurations, including wall-mounted compositions, freestanding units, floor-standing versions with elegant legs
The result is a collection that adapts effortlessly to a wide range of interiors while maintaining a distinctly Italian character.
The Gaston Bed: Designed Around Comfort
A bedroom should be more than a place to sleep—it should create a sense of calm and comfort. The Gaston bed combines luxurious softness with sculptural detailing to create a design that feels both inviting and sophisticated.
Its generously padded headboard features enhanced central cushioning, providing comfort while adding visual depth. In contrast, the bed rests on a slender die-cast metal structure with elegant tapered legs, creating a light and refined appearance.
Subtle details elevate the overall design further, including a gentle horizontal recess at the base that softens the profile and gives the bed a welcoming, tailored look.
The Gaston bed is where comfort meets contemporary Italian craftsmanship.
