The Tredi Process — From First Line to Final Detail

Every closets we design carries the full weight of Italian craft and the precision of European engineering. This is how we work — meticulously, relentlessly, end to end.

We craft bespoke interiors that embody refined elegance and thoughtful design, creating spaces that elevate your lifestyle and reflect your individuality.

Phase 02 — Design & Conception with 3 CAD & Compusoft

We design exclusively with Winner Compusoft, the most advanced kitchen design software on the market — the same platform trusted by leading manufacturers and elite studios worldwide. Its precision allows us to translate your vision into technically exact layouts, complete with millimeter-level accuracy on every module, appliance, and finish.

From this foundation, we develop detailed floor plans, full elevations, and sectional views. Every angle is studied. Every proportion is deliberate. You see exactly what will be built.

Phase 01 — Measurements & Survey

Everything begins with accuracy. We start by working from your architectural plans, extracting precise dimensions and mapping structural constraints before a single cabinet is imagined. No assumption is made. Every ceiling height, beam, column, and utility run is recorded.

Once the plan-based measurements are validated, our team goes on-site to confirm each dimension in the field. We compare plan to reality with a critical eye — because in high-end cabinetry, a single centimeter of discrepancy can compromise a decade of use. Field verification is non-negotiable.

Phase 04 — 3D Rendering & Visual Validation

Before any order is placed, we produce photorealistic 3D renderings of your kitchen — full views, close-ups, and material studies. You see your space as it will actually look: the grain of the veneer, the sheen of the lacquer, the play of light across a worktop.

This is your final visual checkpoint. Every element is reviewed and approved. No surprises. No regrets.

Phase 03 — Collaborative Refinement

Design is a conversation. We work in close collaboration with you, your interior designer, and your architect — sharing updated plans and elevations at every iteration. Nothing moves forward without full alignment.

This back-and-forth is where the details are won: the choice of finish under specific lighting, the precise height of your hanging, your pants pullout locations, shoes racks, the depth of a pantry column to clear a swing door. We welcome every revision. Precision demands dialogue.

Phase 06 — Site Follow-Up During Production

While your closet is being crafted in Italy, we are not idle. Our team maintains active follow-up on-site — visiting the project to monitor construction progress, verify that the space is being prepared in exact accordance with our plans, and coordinate with the general contractor, subcontractors, and architect.

Whether this is a full new construction or a remodel, we conduct a rigorous comparison of field conditions against our technical drawings. Walls that shifted. Floors that weren’t leveled. Utility rough-ins that moved. We find the discrepancies before the kitchen arrives — not after.

We lead structured briefings with the architect, general contractor, and all relevant trades to ensure complete alignment before delivery day. No one works in silos.

Phase 05 — Order Validation & Factory Authorization

Once design is signed off, we enter the most critical technical phase: order preparation and deep verification. Every module, every dimension, every finish code, every hinge specification, every accessory is cross-checked line by line against your approved plans.

Only when our internal review is complete — with zero discrepancies — do we issue the factory the green light to process the order. This step protects you from costly errors and ensures the factory receives a file it can execute with full confidence.

Phase 08 – Delivery & Installation

Delivery is handled by our specialized logistics team, trained in the handling of premium European cabinetry. No standard moving crew. No improvised methods.

Installation is performed exclusively by certified installers factory-authorized by San Giacomo technicians who know the product’s engineering from the inside out. Every panel is hung, every drawer adjusted, every soft-close mechanism calibrated to factory specification.

Throughout the entire installation, a dedicated project coordinator is on-site — day after day — until every element is complete, every joint is flush, and every detail meets the standard your investment demands.

Phase 07 — Reception at Our Climate-Controlled Warehouse

Your Italian closet arrives at our climate-controlled warehouse in Long Beach, California. Each crate is received, inspected, and logged by our team. Temperature and humidity-controlled storage ensures that wood, lacquer, and veneer panels arrive on-site in the same condition they left the factory.

We do not drop-ship. We do not store in open facilities. Your cabinetry is treated with the care it deserves from the moment it lands on U.S. soil.

Expertise

Whether you are building new or remodeling an existing space, the Tredi process is the same. Rigorous. Transparent. Fully managed from first sketch to final installation.

This is what it means to work with an Italian cabinetry specialist — not a showroom, not a reseller. A dedicated team that considers your project complete only when you do.

Frequently asked questions

We work fluidly with all three. Many of our projects are introduced through architects and interior designers, and we are accustomed to integrating seamlessly into an existing design team. We adapt our communication and documentation to match your team’s workflow — providing CAD files, elevations, and technical specifications in the formats your professionals require. Collaboration is a core part of how we work, not an exception.

Every project is unique, but as a general framework: the design and validation phase typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity and options of the closets and the number of revision rounds. Production at our Italian factory runs approximately 10 to 14 weeks from the moment the order is authorized. Delivery, installation, and final completion add another 1 to 2 weeks. For most projects, clients should plan for a total timeline of 4 to 6 months from signed design to finished kitchen. We establish a detailed schedule at the outset so there are no surprises.

Winner Compusoft is the industry-leading kitchen design software used by the world’s top manufacturers and design studios. It allows us to design your kitchen with millimeter-level precision, produce photorealistic 3D renderings, and generate the exact technical files sent directly to the factory. This eliminates interpretation errors between design intent and factory production — what you approve is precisely what is built

Changes are welcomed and expected during the design and refinement phase — that is exactly what the iterative process is for. However, once the order has been authorized and sent to the factory, modifications become significantly more complex and may affect both the timeline and cost. We invest heavily in the pre-order validation precisely to ensure that everything is confirmed before the factory begins production. Our goal is to get every detail right before that point

While your cabinetry is being crafted in Italy, our team visits your job site to verify that construction is progressing in exact accordance with our technical drawings. We compare field conditions to plan, identify any discrepancies — shifted walls, relocated utilities, unleveled floors — and coordinate with your architect, general contractor, and all relevant trades. Resolving these issues before the kitchen arrives is far less costly and disruptive than discovering them on installation day.

Our climate-controlled warehouse in Long Beach exists for one reason: to protect your investment. Italian cabinetry — particularly lacquered, veneered, and solid wood finishes — is sensitive to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Direct port delivery to an uncontrolled environment can cause irreversible damage to panels and finishes before a single cabinet is hung. Our warehouse ensures your kitchen arrives on-site in factory condition, exactly as it left Italy.

Installation is performed exclusively by technicians certified directly by Arrital — the factory that manufactured your kitchen. These are not general contractors or third-party crews. They are trained specifically on the engineering, hardware, and assembly methods of Arrital cabinetry. This certification is not a formality; it ensures that every hinge, every drawer runner, and every panel is installed to the exact tolerances the factory specifies.

A dedicated project coordinator from Tredi Interiors is present on-site throughout the installation — not for a single walkthrough, but continuously until the project reaches full completion. You are never left to manage trades or resolve issues on your own. This on-site coordination is a non-negotiable part of our service, and it is what separates a truly managed installation from a dropped delivery.
